Prairie House
Saskatoon, Saskatchewan
The Prairie House is designed to float lightly upon the land. Each year, the structure - elevated on 4 x 4 posts – is moored in the stubble of an empty wheat field and waits for the tide of grain to rise around it. At the end of each year, it is moved by truck like a small wagon train of prairie schooners.
